As the granddaughter of two World War II veterans, the niece of a Vietnam veteran, and the cousin of Afghanistan War veterans, Emily knows the sacrifice our nation’s service members and their families make to protect our country. As the daughter of an educator and graduate of the University of Maine, Emily also knows first-hand the vital role public schools, colleges, and universities play for Maine’s families and our economic future. And as the youngest woman to ever serve as Maine’s House Minority Leader, Emily knows the importance of breaking down barriers for Maine's women and families. |
