Amanda is the daughter of a Mexican immigrant farmworker who worked his way up, eventually building a family and a small business in the Central Valley. Amanda was the first Mexican-American from her small town to be accepted at Stanford University. She was also the first Latina Chief of Staff in U.S. Senate history. |
